St. Louis Cardinals Game 36

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to watch the game. I do know that Rockies did return a bit of the favor to the Cardinals. The Rockies starting pitcher no-hit them into the seventh. David Freese broke it up. The Cardinals did score a couple of runs but lost 8-2. Jaime Garcia struggled through six laborious innings. His era “ballooned” from 2.25 to 2.88.  He is 4-2 on he season. Again the Cardinals had trouble hitting and scoring runs. The feast or famine offense is painfully agonizing. The Cards also placed Jake Westbrook on the disabled list and called up lefty John Gast, who will make his major league debut Tuesday night against the Mets. Tomorrow Lance Lynn goes after his sixth win against the Mets.
