St. Louis Cardinals Game 69

I missed most of this one but from the looks of it, Tyler Lyons wasn’t very good. The Cards musterd only 3 hits in the first eight innings, which is extremely rare for them. They almost made a show of it in the ninth but Matt Holliday struck out with the bases loaded on a pitch that was way outside. It was their first series lost since late April. These things happen. They still have the best record in baseball. With the Cubbies coming to town, you know they’re going to be ready to go. Second guessing here but maybe Tyler Lyons should have been the one to go down. Wonder if its time for Carlos Martinez to come back and try his hand.

NExt up is the Cubs and they get to face Shelby Miller who looks to bounce back from his loss against the Mets.
